TWD: Chocolate Chip Cookies

It's kind of sad to see how the other TWD bakers did this week, because everyone has these lovely, thin, crispy chocolate chip cookies, which is exactly what I love. On the other hand, I followed the recipe to the letter and I got these so-so cookies that were sort of chewy warm, but like rocks when they cooled. I dunked them in tea and they weren't a total loss, but I could've bought the same thing at the grocery store. Definitely sticking with my tried-and-true recipes (and maybe Jacques Torres' if I get around to it).

Too bad these didn't work out for you. I wonder what happened? Mine were thin and chewy and I loved them!

Wow--that's so strange! I got the flat, chewy ones. Well, the ones I forgot in the oven were crisp. I wanted ones more like yours. Wonder what we did?

I wonder why yours are so different than most of the rest of ours? All I can think is that it's slight variations in the amount of flour due to different measuring methods. But I'll gladly trade you my pancake cookies for yours! :)

Darn so sorry they didn't turn out the way you wanted them. I think they look good and I would eat em! I hope you can bake with me next week!
